BROWNS @ BRONCOS 12/2/24

The Denver Broncos and their 7-5 record are stepping into the spotlight as they prepare to take on the Cleveland Browns in Monday Night Football. Having swept the Las Vegas Raiders in a thrilling 29-19 victory on the road, Broncos' morale is noticeably high as they gear up for a potential AFC playoff berth.

Broncos' wide receiver Courtland Sutton said after the win that Denver’s tide is turning. Denver has won back-to-back games after their loss to Kansas City, a game the Broncos could have won if not for a last-minute blocked field goal.

On the other hand, the Cleveland Browns, currently 3-8, have seen an overall positive transformation since quarterback Jameis Winston stepped in for the injured Deshaun Watson. Winning two of their past four games, the Browns and their new leader managed to surprise the Pittsburgh Steelers with a 24-19 victory on Thursday Night Football. Winston threw for 219 yards and scored a touchdown.

The upcoming game promises to pose a thrilling challenge for both teams, with rookie quarterback Bo Nix making a strong impression in the recent games. Nix went off against the Atlanta Falcons where he recorded 307 passing yards and four touchdowns.  Nix has also managed to keep his sack count to a minimum.

However, Nix and the Broncos will face a tough opponent in Myles Garrett, the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year. Garnering 10 sacks, 13 tackles for loss, and three forced fumbles, Garrett's presence on the defensive front is evident.

A unique twist to the game will be presented by Cleveland receiver Jerry Jeudy, who was traded from the Broncos in March. Jeudy has thrived since joining the Browns and will be an interesting player to watch in tonight’s game.

Despite a few injuries for both teams, it seems Cleveland and Denver are focused and well-prepared for tonight’s game. The  Broncos can still earn a spot in the AFC playoffs. The Broncos have won 7 of their last 10 games. They are also 5-1 ATS in their last six.

Cleveland is 2-7 SU in its last 9 games and 4-9 ATS in their last 13. The Browns have not done well against Denver recently. Cleveland is 2-12 SU in the last 14 against the Broncos and 2-6-1 ATS in the last nine.

COURTLAND SUTTON 60+ RECEIVING YARDS

Sutton’s receiving prop O/U is set at 64.5 and the pricing isn’t much different than this number. Sutton has cleared 64.5 in five straight games. In those five games, he averaged 93.4 yards receiving per game. Cleveland has a very difficult time defending an opponent’s WR1. The Browns rank 28th in defending an opponent’s No. 1 receiver. In addition, Sutton has scored a touchdown in three straight games. You might take a look at his Anytime TD prop, currently at +140 right now.
