MLB: Jose Ramirez (Guardians) OVER 1.5 Hits, Runs, & RBIs
Good morning #PropNation! Mondays are always a fresh start. New week, wipe the slate clean and start fresh. That’s exactly what we’re doing. We lost several props yesterday by the hook (0.5) which is killer variance and our free plays reverse swept, bringing us to 8-4 in the last 12 free picks. We trust the process, the work we put in, and grind out more winners. Tonight ,I’m giving you guys NBA and MLB free action. The first look I like is Jose Ramirez of the Guardians to go OVER 1.5 Hits, Runs, & RBIs. The Guardians open a series at home against the Twins and are facing Bailey Ober. Ramirez has good career numbers against him, going 6 for 19 (.316) with a home run and 3 RBIs. While Ober has had a few good starts in a row one of the keys here is his home vs road splits. He has been horrendous on the road, going 0-1 with a 9.35 ERA and .333 OBA in 2 starts this season. This has the makings for a tough start for Ober and one of the best spots to take advantage is a big name player who’s comfortable against him. Lock in Jose Ramirez OVER 1.5 Hits, Runs, & RBIs for the first dub!!
NBA: Amen Thompson (Rockets) OVER 3.5 Assists
Onto the 2nd free prop and we head over to the NBA Playoffs where I want you guys to take Amen Thompson of the Rockets to go OVER 3.5 Assists. This is a nice buy-low spot for a guy who has a much higher usage rate than early in the season and assist numbers are way up. Thompson is one of the most athletic young NBA players and he can take advantage by attacking the rim and finding the open man. Golden State has some of the best help defense so you’ll see him have to look for others when the initial opening as he penetrates closes off. Thompson has averaged 4.3 APG so far this series, 5.3 APG in April, 4.9 APG in March, and 6.3 APG in February. Great numbers for a line this low. He should play 35+ minutes tonight and have plenty of opportunity to clear this number. All of my models have him projected for 5.5 tonight which is a really nice advantage on the line. Take Amen Thompson OVER 3.5 Assists.
NBA: Brandin Podziemski (Warriors) OVER 21.5 PRA (pts, rebs, assts)
For the third and final free prop I am looking to Brandin Podziemski of the Warriors to have a solid game and go OVER 21.5 PRA on the combo stat line. Podz is one of my favorite young players in the NBA because he does it all and he’s so athletic. He averaged 20.2 PRA on the season and has gotten a ton of playing time this series outside of his really bad Game 2 performance. This play has a ton of line functionality whether Butler plays or not. Podz has gone way under this line the last two games but they continue to post his line higher which give me confidence in the bounce back game. He has drawn PRA lines as high as 26.5 just a few games ago against Memphis. Look for him to get a bunch of open looks from three and be all over the court tonight. If he can get an early shot or two to fall he’ll be on the court all game. Take Brandin Podziemski OVER 21.5 PRA!
