Cam Thomas (Nets) UNDER 3.5 Assists
Last night we went 3-1 on free props again, bringing us to 6-2 (75%) in the last 8 free props. I like Cam Thomas of the Nets to go UNDER 3.5 assists tonight. Thomas averages 2.7 assists/game through the first 3 games and has yet to dish out 4 or more assists this season. That’s because in Cam’s mind he has the ultimate green light to shoot. He’s putting up 22 shot attempts/game which has equated to 30 PPG, but not in the most efficient way. It's not a recipe for winning basketball. The Nuggets are really solid defensively and should be able to slow Thomas down offensively. His line should almost certainly be 2.5 in this spot so we take the free assist of value. Cam is going to shoot the ball and let Schroder & Simmons do the passing. This line has hit the under in 8 of Thomas’s last 10 games. We love 80% hit rates. Take Cam Thomas UNDER 3.5 Assists.
Zion Williamson (Pelicans) OVER 34.5 PRA (pts, rebs, assts)
For the 2nd free prop tonight I want you guys to look to the Pelicans vs Warriors matchup. This is expected to be a good game despite Stephen Curry being out and I like an over here. I really feel that most public bettors are fading Zion Williamson after the first couple games because his scoring numbers are way down, putting up just 15 PPG so far. Zion was finally healthy last year playing in 70 regular season games, averaging 22.9 PPG, 6 RPG, and 5 APG. Despite his cold start oddsmakers have his PRA line at 34.5 tonight. This is a sign he is expected to get things rolling and I don’t see a great defensive matchup for the Warriors. Yeah, maybe Draymond Green will be tasked with trying to frustrate Zion, but Williamson should overpower him and likely draw a bunch of fouls. Williamson is shooting just 26% from the floor which should increase drastically as we saw him at 57% last season. What we absolutely love is his ability to get to the free throw line. He’s shot 24 free throws through 2 games. He has so many ways to fill the stat sheet. Take Zion Williamson OVER 34.5 PRA!!
Julius Randle (Timberwolves) OVER 7.5 Rebounds
For the last free play I want you guys to take Julius Randle to go over 7.5 rebounds. Randle is off to a hot start with his new team and new scenery. Randle is a beast on the boards averaging over 9 rebounds a game last season, and he's averaged 8+ rebounds in EVERY SINGLE one of his 9 NBA seasons. At 6’9 255 pounds, he is a problem in the paint. He has gone over this number in 2 of 3 games for the Timberwolves so far this season. The Mavericks are coming off a back-to-back while the Timberwolves have not played since Saturday. I see an energetic, rested Randle getting after it tonight. Although a small sample size, thru 3 games the Mavericks allow the 2nd most rebounds to opposing power forwards. Playing alongside Rudy Gobert should create more opportunities for rebounds. The Mavericks have to account for where Rudy is at all times as he averaged 12 rebounds per game last year.
