NFL: Najee Harris (Steelers) OVER 17.5 Carries
Onto the first free play and I want you guys to lock in on Thursday night football and back Najee Harris to be the workhorse he has been this season. Harris is benefitting big time from the Steelers offense actually being efficient. For years he had nowhere to run but this year he’s getting the ball a ton. Over the last 4 games he’s carried the rock 20 times/game and his O/U in this one is 17 & ½. I don’t think the short week of rest will stop the Steelers from calling his number against the struggling division rival Browns. Cleveland ranks 24th in the NFL at stopping the run and just allowed 214 rushing yards to New Orleans last week. If they can pound the rock so can this Steelers O-line. Plus, there is potential rain/snow tonight which favors a tough run game. Give me Najee Harris OVER 17.5 Carries and let’s cash this ticket!
NCAAF: CJ Bailey (NC State) OVER 223.5 Passing Yards
For free play #2 I want you guys to take CJ Bailey (NC State) Over 223.5 Passing Yards.
CJ Bailey and the 5-5 NC State Wolfpack travel to Atlanta to take on the 6-4 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. The Wolfpack need this game or the next game at UNC to become bowl eligible, so they will be ready to play. CJ Bailey is a talented Freshman quarterback who was forced into early action this year when Grayson McCall was forced to retire early due to concussions. There have been some growing pains for CJ this year, but he has settled in nicely. He cruised over this number in 4 out of the last 5 games, averaging 265 passing yards per game over that stretch. This number is lower because CJ struggled last week against a stingy Duke pass defense going 16/39 for only 184 passing yards. This is a great bounce back spot for CJ as he takes on the 87th best Georgia Tech pass defense that allows 241 yards through the air per game. Take CJ Bailey Over 223.5 Passing Yards!
NCAAB: Zakai Zeigler (Tennessee) UNDER 14.5 Points
For free play #3 we go to college hoops and take Zakai Zeigler (Tennessee) Under 14.5 Points. Zakai Zeigler leads the Tennessee Volunteers to the Bahamas to take on the Virginia Cavaliers. After a shocking Tony Bennett retirement, the Cavaliers start the season 3-0. Even with Tony Bennett gone, his impact remains as Virginia boasts one of the best defenses and slowest paces in the country. Zakai Zeigler is one of the most talented and experienced point guards in the country. With the departure of Dalton Knecht, JJJ, and Jonas Aido, the Vols will be looking to Zeigler to potentially score more this season. Zeigler has gone under this number in 2/4 games this season and is averaging 15 points per game. Virginia ranks 363rd in tempo and 34th in Adjusted Defensive Efficiency. The Cavs are only allowing opponents to shoot 30 percent from 3. Zakai relies heavily on the 3-ball as almost 50 percent of his points come from deep. Look for Virginia to clamp down on the star point guard and force others to do the scoring. Lock up Zakai Zeigler Under 14.5 Points!
