KNICKS @ WARRIORS 3/15/25
One day after making his 4,000th three-pointer in his career during a 130-104 victory over the Sacramento Kings at home, Stephen Curry celebrated his 37th birthday on Friday. When the Golden State Warriors (38-28) host the New York Knicks (42-23) tonight in San Francisco, Curry will start his journey toward 5,000 career three-pointers.
Curry only scored 11 points in Thursday's victory, but his five assists helped distribute the scoring. After missing 31 games due to a sprained right ankle, Jonathan Kuminga returned with 18 points in 20 minutes, one of seven Warriors players to score in double figures. The Curry-Kuminga connection was later mentioned by Warriors coach Steve Kerr.
Since acquiring Jimmy Butler from the Miami Heat last month, the Warriors have gone 13-2. One of those victories occurred on March 4 in New York, where Curry scored 28 points in a 114-102 Golden State victory. Curry hit five three-pointers in that game.
Golden State has now won six straight games. They have defeated the Detroit Pistons, Portland Trail Blazers, and Kings by a combined 41 points to start an eight-game homestand.
The Knicks are currently on a five-game Western swing that concludes on Saturday, and they have split their last four games since Golden State's visit. After losing to the Lakers and the Clippers in Los Angeles, they bounced back to defeat the Kings and the Trail Blazers.
Coincidentally, they defeated the Kings at home three days prior by a nearly identical score (133–104) to their victory at Sacramento on Monday.
The Knicks had Jalen Brunson in the lineup the last time they faced the Warriors, but Karl-Anthony Towns was out. While Towns returned from a personal day off to contribute double-doubles to the losses in Los Angeles before scoring 26 and 21 points in the victories at Sacramento and Portland, Brunson has since sprained his right ankle.
Miles McBride, who had 21 and 11 points in just his third and fourth starts of the season, was one of the five Knicks starters who scored in double figures in the team's last two victories. Against Portland, McBride had two blocked shots and four steals.

COACH RICK FREE PICK:
JONATHAN KUMINGA OVER 0.5 THREE-POINTERS
While Steph Curry gets all the hype for his three-point shooting, we can get a great price on Kuminga to hit just one. That is something he has done in 10 of his last 13 games at home. He’s also had at least one three-pointer in 14 of his last 20 games overall. Kuminga averages 16.8 points per game and had 18 on Thursday in his first game back from injury. He shoots 34.2 percent from three.
