PSG vs Man City- Wednesday
Man City Over 1.5 Team Total Goals at +100 20*
Pep Guardiola and Luis Enrique have gone head to head and every time we’ve been treated to goals (4 per game average)
Man City have relieved a bit of pressure in recent weeks with some decent results although defensively they still look shaky
I think this game has the potential to be high scoring and the markets thinks so too, PSG have been kinda unlucky the past two season at home in the UCL, they’ve put up elite numbers consistently here but I still worry for them defensively
PSG will be very aggressive here and will press high which could pay off if they can turn the ball over in Man City’s half, but Man City are still strong at playing through a press and should be able to create high quality chances in transition
Remember PSG really have to go for the win here, their last game isn’t a slam dunk either as they’ll be travelling to Stuttgart who will also likely be needing points.
PSG have played two elite sides who are on Man City’s level this season, against Bayern they gave up 17 shots and 2.18xG (Bayern were pretty poor that game) and lost 2-0 to Arsenal in a pretty uncompetitive encounter.
It should also be worrying that PSG have won just 3 of their last 10 UCL games, they beat Salzburg, Girona, and a 10 man Barcelona last season. Should we still be considering PSG among Europe’s elite?
Man City have now scored 22 goals in their last 5 outings, I know some of these teams have been fairly week but just gaining that bit of confidence should help them a lot here
