COLLEGE BASKETBALL
ST. FRANCIS (PA) @ CENTRAL CONNECTICUT STATE (CCSU -11.5, 138.5)
ST. FRANCIS (PA) TEAM TOTAL UNDER 66.5
So, you should remember that Coach Rick grew up near St. Francis, which is located in Loretto, PA. I'm familiar with their basketball program and today the Red Flash will head to Connecticut to take on Central Connecticut State. The Blue Devils are the best team in the Northeast Conference. They have won seven straight games and they have done it with defense.
Central Connecticut is one of the better defensive teams in the nation. They rank 14th in the country in scoring defense allowing opponents an average of 63.4 points per game. In their seven-game winning streak, the Blue Devils held 6 of the 7 opponents to 66 or fewer points.
The Red Flash aren't anything special on offense. They average 71.5 points per game. In the first meeting with CCSU this season, St. Francis managed just 59 points on their home floor. Away from home today, the points will be hard to come by.
COLLEGE BASKETBALL
MISSISSIPPI STATE @ OLE MISS (MISS -4, 146.5)
OLE MISS ML
Ole Miss has won three straight games, including a huge win over Kentucky. Mississippi State limps into this one having lost 3 of its last 4 games. The Bulldogs beat the Rebels at home 84-81 back on Jan. 18.

e Miss trailed in that game by 8 points at the half. The Rebels won the second 45-37, tied the game, but eventually lost in overtime. If Ole Miss can rebound like it did in that second half, I like their chances. I also like the Rebels to take advantage of a Mississippi State defense that has allowed 81 or more points in 3 of its last 4 games.
The Rebels are 11-2 SU at home this season and they're playing a revenge game against a huge rival. That said, it is a rivalry game and I do expect it to be close. I'll opt for the moneyline at a decent price.
COLLEGE BASKETBALL
MICHIGAN STATE @ ILLINOIS (ILL -6.5, 157.5)
KASPARAS JAKUCIONIS OVER 15.5 POINTS
The home team has won each of the last four games in this series. Michigan State won the first game this season at home back on Jan. 19. In that game, Illinois' Kasparas Jakucionis was in foul trouble. He would eventually foul out after having played just 9 minutes. He ended up with a season-low 3 points and I think he'll take that performance to heart and bounce back tonight.
Jakucionis is Illinois' leading scorer averaging 16 points per game. In his last two games against Minnesota and UCLA, he scored 24 points in each. Jakucionis has gone Over tonight's points prop number in 13 of his last 18 games.
