He pitched a full 7 innings and only allowed 5 hits, but 2 of the hits were solo home runs. Burnes wound up allowing 4 ER, the first time all season in which he gave up more than 3.
He'll bounce back tonight against a Rangers lineup that is struggling. Over the last 30 days, Texas ranks dead last in MLB in ISO and OPS against RHP. Burnes should smoke through this lineup on the way to a F5 run line cover and an eventual Orioles win.
MIAMI @ PHILADELPHIA (PHI -325, 8)

The Phillies will start Zack Wheeler tonight against the Marlins. He is 9-4 this season with a 2.73 ERA. He's starting to get some run support too. In his last start against Arizona, the Phillies came alive to score 12 runs.
Philadelphia has also done well against Miami this year. They put up 6, 8, and 8 runs in the first series of the season against the Marlins. Philadelphia won that series, of course. Trevor Rogers gets the start for Miami. He's 1-8 with a 4.90 ERA, but he's pitched well in his last few starts.
The problem for Rogers and Miami is that he won't go very deep in this game. That means Philly will have plenty of time to feast on a broken Marlins bullpen. Philadelphia will do most of the damage here, but this total goes Over 8.
DETROIT @ LA ANGELS (DET -162, 8)

Jack Flaherty is having a great season for the Tigers, one that might end up with an All-Star bid. He is 5-4 this season with a 2.92 ERA. Detroit has won his last four starts in a row. Three of those starts were on the road. In those four games, Flaherty pitched a total of 22.1 innings and gave up just 1 ER.
The Angels will start Davis Daniel for the first time this season. He's pitched in three games so far and he is not likely to go deep in this one. That means Detroit will get at least 3 or 4 innings of the Angels' bullpen. The Angels bullpen ranks 29th in MLB in ERA. Advantage Tigers.
