TENNESSEE @ MIAMI (MIA -2.5, 37)

TITANS @ DOLPHINS 9/30/24
In his brief NFL career, quarterback Will Levis' most memorable moment happened on a Monday night road game against the Miami Dolphins last season. When the Dolphins take on the winless Tennessee Titans in Miami Gardens tonight, Levis will be hoping for a repeat performance in the same venue.
Last December, Tennessee overcame a 14-point deficit to defeat the Dolphins 28-27 by scoring 15 points in 51 seconds. As a rookie at the time, Levis passed for 327 yards, a career-high. This season, the Titans (0-3) have been outscored 78-48 and haven't looked particularly strong.
After star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills, the Dolphins (1-2) are dealing with different problems. The earliest he can return from injured reserve is against the Arizona Cardinals on October 27.
Prior to leaving the game with a rib injury in the third quarter of last week's 24-3 road loss to the Seattle Seahawks, Skylar Thompson completed 13-of-19 passes for 107 yards and was sacked five times. Miami finished with just 205 yards of total offense, with Tim Boyle going 7-of-13 for 79 yards and being sacked once.
Miami head coach Mike McDaniel announced that Tyler Huntley will start at quarterback against the Titans. Boyle will be the backup, McDaniel confirmed on Saturday. Huntley was acquired by the Dolphins from Baltimore. Huntley made 10 starts (including playoffs) in his four seasons with the Ravens.
Miami's 11 points per game scoring average is the lowest in the NFL. It has lost its last two games by a score of 55–13 and hasn't scored a touchdown in the previous seven quarters. Tyreek Hill, the star wide receiver, has only caught six passes for 64 yards and zero points in the two losses. The Dolphins said he needed rest, but he didn't practice on Friday.
The Titans rank 29th in total offense (260.3 yards per game) and 28th in scoring (16.0 yards). With eight total turnovers (five interceptions and three lost fumbles), Levis is tied for the NFL lead. As of Monday's game, Levis is 3-9 as a starter.
After being placed on injured reserve on Friday, cornerback Chidobe Awuzie (groin) will miss at least four games for Tennessee. He sustained an injury during the 30-14 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. Jeffery Simmons, a standout defensive tackle, missed practice on Friday for the second day in a row due to an elbow injury.

FREE PICK: DEVON ACHANE OVER 56.5 RUSHING YARDS
Raheem Mostert probably won’t play for Miami and even if he does, he won’t be 100 percent. That means Achane will get more action as he has in Miami’s last two games. In those two games, Achane has played 62 and 74 percent of the Dolphins’ offensive snaps. He had 22 carries against Buffalo but only 11 last week against Seattle. He should be somewhere in between this week and that should be enough to put him Over this number. Tennessee’s run defense ranks in the bottom-10 in the NFL. They just gave up 188 to Miami last week.
